"Brandon is a seasoned comic book and illustrative artist with over a decade of experience. Specializing in graphite/charcoal, ink, and watercolor/gouache, he creates dynamic, narrative-driven artwork.
Self-taught but mentored by established comic artists, Brandon’s teaching focuses on the fundamentals of art—form, perspective, composition, color, value, texture, lighting, and design. His structured classes emphasize technique and skill-building while encouraging creative exploration.
As a combat veteran, colorblind, and one-eyed, Brandon brings a unique perspective to his work and teaching, emphasizing resilience and adaptability. LANA

"Lana is a self-taught artist working across ink, pencil, and digital mediums. She's been creating since she could first hold a pencil, moving through many seasons of style and expression- from intricate ink mandalas to her signature “gender-fluid lava lamp” aesthetic. Her work is an alchemy of structure and emotion, transforming complex inner landscapes into vibrant, flowing visuals. While she loves to keep things funky, Lana holds a deep respect for artistic fundamentals, but prefers to leave the rule book at home.
A global citizen of Kurdish heritage, Lana is an immigrant who has lived in 3 countries, 5 U.S. states, and over 10 cities. Born of a complex backstory, she uses her art to help shape the world she wants to see — one that is free, fluid, and full of love. A natural wanderer fueled by curiosity, she now calls home wherever she’s with her husband and two beloved cats, Boo and Zeus."

ELIZA

"With over 20 years of experience drawing and painting from life, I bring a deep passion for observation and expression into every figure drawing session. My artistic journey began with the human form and capturing people in real time still draws me in today.
My work has been exhibited in several shows around Charlotte, and my plein air landscapes—painted on location—have earned regional awards for their immediacy and sense of place.
I love the spontaneity and freshness of plein air painting and bring much of the same approach to my figure drawing practice. I believe the best drawings begin with deep, analytical observation. I can best offer instruction for figure drawers looking to improve anatomical accuracy and understand how to capture light and shadow. I enjoy working in many mediums, including charcoal, pencil, pastel, watercolor, and gouache.
Figure drawing is an excellent way to sharpen your skills, develop your eye, and connect with the rhythm of real life. Whether you're new to drawing or looking to deepen your practice, I’m excited to share what I’ve learned and help you grow your own connection to the figure."
